 Very
well, where do we begin.
Drew was born the son of
poor Greek immigrants in
the great city of Chicago
circa 1974. As a little
boy, he hated snow. Therefore,
it was quite fortuitous
that his parents decided
to relocate to sunny California
circa 1984.
As a ten year old growing
up on the rough streets
of Westlake Village, Drew
learned many skills that
would come to aid in his
survival. For instance,
learning to distinguish
between the cheap and expensive
classes of Mercedes, caviar,
and wine; and under the
tutelage of his Jewish friends,
where to get the best bagels.
At age 12, Drew decides
to learn the guitar in hopes
that it would get him laid.
It never did. Drew played
in metal hair bands up until
the age of 16, at which
point he decided a better
way to get laid would be
to start lifting weights.
So he did, which eventually
led him to track and field
and got him laid quite a
few times in high school,
and particularly in college.
While in college, inspired
by the works of Tori Amos
and Sarah McLachlan (what
can he say, he's a lesbian
trapped in the body of a
man), he learned to play
the piano. This would set
the stage for what was to
follow.
Fast forward to 1998, the
epoch of the electronica
revolution. Drew attends
his first rave in the middle
of the San Bernadino desert
and takes his first hit
of "rave culture."
Like Christ, much of Drew's
mid-20s were spent wandering
the deserts of Southern
California on mind-altering
substances. After a particularly
long conversation with the
melting sunset while on
top of a rock, Drew becomes
determined to create the
sounds that so inspired
him during those formative
years.
After 6 years, and the
forsaking of various substances,
Drew's music is heard all
around the world spun by
some of the biggest names
in progressive house. Drew's
releases can be heard at
Babylon records, as well
as Toes in the Sand Recordings.
When Drew isn't working
as a biochemist or superstar
recording artist, he enjoys
an occasional bottle of
wine (his last vice), candlelit
dinners, walks on the beach,
puppies, teddy bears, donating
his time and half his money
to charity, as well as helping
retards learn how to read.
Drew believes in: "Work
like you don't need the
money, dance like no one's
watching, love like you've
never been hurt, and fuck
like you're being filmed."
