| Nicolás
Coronel, based in Buenos Aires,
is the latest standout in
the strong Argentinian progressive
movement sparked by Hernán
Cattaneo.
In 1994, Nicolás launched
his DJ career, and through
the years developed his sound
at numerous local venues,
sharing the booth with Martin
Garcia, Gabo, Parks &
Wilson, Spitfire, Cesar de
Melero, Can Costa, DJ Oliver,
and many others.
Currently, Nicolás
is a resident at Complejo
Sobremonte and Divino Beach,
and has also played in the
Mar del Plata Dance Parade
Festival, the most important
event on Argentina's Atlantic
coast. In the summer of 2005,
he performed on the main stage
for Argentina's first ever
Mixtronica Marlboro.
Though still a relatively
new producer, his tracks have
been hammered worldwide by
Hernán Cattaneo, G-Pal,
Kosmas Epsilon, V-Sag, Martin
Garcia, Kriece, Andrew K,
DJ Tarkan, Nick Warren, Steve
Gerrard, Micah, Mike Hiratzka,
and many more. In June 2006,
his track "Resonance"
was included in the G-Pal
02 compilation on Swift Records,
alongside such luminaries
as Peace Division, Tiefschwartz,
Pole Folder, Jody Wisternoff,
and Dousk. He also has releases
on Heavy Rotation, Acute Recordings,
Sentient Audio Collective,
and Fiberline Audio.
His production partners are
Mark Slee (aka Palivacinni)
and Juan Pablo Graziano.
