Budapest 2003. Two respected members of
the Hungarian music underground, Soundsmith
and Downkill, have a chance encounter
and The Scrubz is born!
Soundsmith started his music career in
1994 as a DJ, filling residencies at local
clubs like Supersonic Technikum and Pacha
of Budapest, as well as radio shows like
the Ministry of Sound on Radio 1.
DownKill transitioned from just being
a fan of electronic music to being a composer
in 1999, when he developed a passion for
computer-based production. His passion
quickly led to him winning Fiberline Audio's
remix contest for V-Sag's "Kittie
in an Empty House."
